Changed my layout

I sometimes wonder if I am the slowest blogger out there!  I feels like it takes me forever once I log on to locate my blogs, figure out who has commented on what, then locate my fellow classmates blogs to see what they have posted.  Even though I have done it multiple times for some reason I still struggle locating the Dashboard.  However, today I did manage to figure out how to personalize my blog!  I was able to change my background and layout by editing the template under settings.  So this may seem easy to most, but for me I was ecstatic that I finally figured out how to do something new!  Whooooo!

I may figure this blogging thing out after all!!!!!

  1. Olivia,
I love this layout! I personally prefer more simplistic layouts, such as the one I have on my blog, but I like this one as well!

It definitely takes me a little while to explore our group members' blogs. First, I go on to my blog to see if I have any new comments (even though notifications are e-mailed to me when someone comments). Then, I check my feed to see any new posts. It's definitely a timely process - and to imagine there are only 4 published blogs for our group!

Good job learning how to personalize the blog! It goes to show what exploring a new tool can lead to. As I wrote on Oneil's blog, we can't expect to master Blogspot right away. It'll definitely take time.

  2. Morgan.

One suggestion is to add a blog list. You can do this by using the layout option. From there you can select add gadget and then choose "blog list". In your blog list you can add the url for the group members. Their posts will show on your page and you can simply click and read their blogs. (See example of blog list on mine or Rachel's blog. I like the change of the background for your page.

  3. Hi Morgan,
I feel the same way about this blog thing. The learning curve is steep with me, ha! Thanks for sticking with it. I've learned a lot from your posts.
